My 2019 Word
Perfunctory: to make effort in projects, tests, homework
I chose this word because I feel like I do all my work and projects have never missed one but sometimes. I tend the need to rush my work because it is gonna be late or I have to do another project so I finish my 1st assiments to work on my other assignment and it is rushed so my 2019 goal and word is perfunctory to make effort and give my patience in my different projects and assiments. This word is important to me because if I rush my assiments that could effect my grades. To achieve my goal I am going to get organized with my work focus more on the assiments and to make myself organized is to have planners and take my time on every assignment with consistently and quality. Other words I was going to chose in stead on perfunctory was organized, books, and planner, I was going to chose organized because I was really messed with paperwork. Books and my locker was really messy but I got that all changed so I didn’t pick that word because I feel like I was going to commit to something that I wasn’t going to do. I try really hard but I always get unorganized but now that I have a planner it’s easier and that’s just how i solved it it was just a planner so I didn’t pick that.the other book I was going to chose was books because I really want to read more books but I do actually and I didn’t really seem like it to me because i can finish a book in a really short time in a month I can probably read like 8 or 9. That’s th max so it’s gonna be really hard to read more since i have other priorities to like my assiments also. And the other word planer was just the same idea from unorganized but I didn’t choose planner because I didn’t really know really how to explain that word so a better one i decided was perfunctory.
